We know the new year has barely begun, but we are wasting no time. With the success of last year’s BHS Music Advertising Invitational, the Batavia Music Buffs decided to continue the fundraiser again this year.
This event has the potential to be a big fundraiser for your students’ charms account: 25% of money raised will go to the student! (IE: $62.50 raised from either the sale of one ½ Page Ad OR the sale of 62 Hoagies)
Please take a look at the step-by-step instructional guide for students/parents that is available on our site: http://www.bataviamusic.org/ad-book.html The guide will provide links for the information letter, advertising form and the business database.
Please note: Check the business database before you approach a business. The first tab shows businesses that are on a “restricted” list. You must ask for permission to request from these businesses. To ask permission for the restricted businesses, please email vpcommunications@bataviamusicbuffs.org or vpwaysandmeans@bataviamusicbuffs.org with the business name, and if you have any connection to them (ie: parent works at the business). Please wait to receive notice of the status of that business before you approach them. The second tab is for all additional businesses. Check to see if someone else has added the business to this list before you approach them. If you do not see the business on this list, feel free to add it to the spreadsheet and contact them yourself.
All ad forms and payment must be turned in by 9/15/17.
