The Big Easy Gala is March 8th from 6:00pm-11:30pm at the Q center in St Charles. This will be a fun evening of dinner, music, silent auctions, and raffles. The Gala features musical performances by Batavia High School Jazz Bands, Chamber Orchestra, Show Choirs, Chromatics, and String Theory. The proceeds from this event go directly back into the Batavia Public Schools music departments grades K-12. The Batavia Music Buffs, a 501c3 charity, donates over $75,000 annually to provide music education in all the Batavia public schools. In past years this has provided instruments for all the schools, the elementary school choral festival, music, clinicians, marching band, show choirs, and winterguard.
